Day 7: Gondwana Sperrgebiet You proceed further north to Aus region situated where the succulent
Karoo and Namib Desert meets with exceptional views over the endless desert
plains of the 510 sq km Gondwana Sperrgebiet Rand Park. An intriguing feature
of the Sperrgebiet is the legendary desert horses seen from the road.
Lodge / B&B Day 8: Gondwana Sperrgebiet / Luderitz This morning depart to the coastal town of Luderitz. Have a stop
en-route at Namibia’s most famous ghost town of Kolmanskop.
Lodge / B&B Day 9/10: Nubib Mountain The journey continues towards the Nubib Mountains an ideal place
for the real nature lover. Nature walks can be enjoyed to explore the variety
of desert fauna and flora, which certainly is some of the most comprehensive
you will find at any one place in the Namib.
Lodge / DB&B Day 11: Sossusvlei After breakfast, your trip continues to one of the top destinations
in the southern region, Sossusvlei, with its monumental dunes up to 325 m
when measured from the base.
Lodge / B&B Day 12: Sossusvlei Early morning visit to Sossusvlei and Sesriem and continue with your
journey towards Solitaire.
Lodge / B&B Day 13: Swakopmund Continue through Kuiseb Canyon to Swakopmund. Visit the moonlandscape
and Welwitchia Mirabilis en route.
Self-catering / B&B Day 14/15: Swakopmund Explore the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvisbay on optional
activities ranging from quad biking in the dunes, dolphin cruises, township
tours, paragliding, sand boarding, scenic flights, sky diving and many more.
Self-catering / B&B Day 16: Damaraland Proceed to Damaraland with its rugged landscapes,
spares population and great mountains.
