Day 3: Sossusvlei
Enjoy an early morning drive into the Sossusvlei area and explore the dunes and its surroundings. On our way back to the lodge we will stop over at the Sesriem Canyon after which our journey will continue to the Atlantic Coast through the Kuiseb Canyon and across the Namib Desert. Arrive in Swakopmund much loved by Namibians as a welcome respite from the heat of interior. After lunch have time at leisure or explore the coastal town on foot.
Day 4: Swakopmund
After an early breakfast, we take pleasure in a dolphin boat cruise where you will experience friendly seals being fed on boat while dolphins swim around enjoying the fun. A large variety of sea birds such as pelicans, flamingos and cormorants can be seen during the cruise.
After lunch we will enjoy an afternoon quad bike experience in the desert and conclude the night with dinner at the Burning Shore, recently made famous by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who stayed there while visiting Namibia or a restaurant of your choice
Day 5: Damaraland
This morning we proceed to Damaraland with its rugged landscapes, spares population and great mountains. After lunch we visit the Twyfelfontein rock paintings and engravings and the Petrified Forest with about 300 million year-old tree trunks. The late afternoon will be on leisure.
Day 6: Etosha National Park
We depart for Etosha National Park one of the largest game reserves in Africa. The Lodge is situated only 25 kilometers from one of Namibia’s major attraction, the Etosha National Park. Nestled on an outcrop of dolomite rocks and under a forest of Mopane and white Seringa trees, you will find the ideal homely atmosphere to relax in tranquility.
Day 7: Etosha National Park
Today we explore the variety of game in the Etosha National Park. Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the three resorts in the park before we return to the lodge.
Day 8: Windhoek
After breakfast transfer to Windhoek where your have time for some shopping before we continue to the airport were your explorer ends.
