Day 8: Swakopmund
Continue through the Kuiseb Canyon and across the Namib Desert to Atlantic
Coast. Arrive in Swakopmund much loved by Namibians as a welcome respite from
the heat of interior. After lunch have time at leisure or explore the coastal
town on foot. B&B Day 9: Swakopmund
After an early breakfast, take pleasure in a dolphin boat cruise where you
will experience friendly seals being fed on boat while dolphins swim around
enjoying the fun. A large variety of sea birds such as pelicans, flamingos
and cormorants can be seen during the cruise. After lunch enjoy an afternoon
quad bike experience in the desert and conclude the night with dinner at the
Burning Shore, recently made famous by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who stayed
there while visiting Namibia. A/B&B
Day 10: Damaraland
This morning proceed to Damaraland with its rugged landscapes, spares population
and great mountains. B&B
Day 11: Damaraland
Today, after breakfast explore the Twyfelfontein rock paintings and engravings
and the Petrified Forest with about 300 million year-old tree trunks. B&B
Day 12: Kaokoland
After breakfast, continue to the famous Kaokoland, home to the desert adapted
elephant and the himba tribe. Explore the town of Opuwo by foot before returning
to the lodge for dinner. B&B
Day 13: Kaokoland
The day can be spend exploring the Epupa Falls with its scenically beautiful
surroundings; Epupa is one of Namibia’s prime destinations. The falls are
a series of cascades where the Kunene River drops a total of 60 m over a distance
of about 1,5, dividing into a multitude of channels and forming a myriad of
rock pools. A visit to the Himba village can be arranged; the extraordinary
resilient and physically beautiful people are one of the few Namibian tribes
who have retained so much their traditional culture. B&B
Day 14: Etosha National Park
Depart for Etosha National Park, “Etosha” – “Place of the great white spaces”
was once a vast shallow lake created, Heigum Bushmen legend tells us, by the
tears of a grieving mother. Namutoni Resort is situated on the eastern side
of the park and centres around an old German fort built before the turn of
the19th century and converted into tourist accommodation in the fifties. At
sunrise and sunset bugle calls company the hoisting and lowering of the Namibian
Flag. A floodlit waterhole next to the fort allows for comfortable game viewing
at night. B&B
Day 15: Etosha National Park
Today explore the variety of game in the Etosha National Park. Lunch can be
enjoyed at Halali Resort before you return in the late afternoon to Namutoni
Resort. B&B
Day 16: Etosha National Park
Your journey continues through the Etosha National Park to Okaukuejo Resort.
The resort is situated at the southern entrance to the park and is the oldest
establishment in Etosha. The unique attraction of this resort is that it overlooks
a permanent waterhole that is floodlit at night, giving you the opportunity
to see some of the shy, nocturnal wildlife. B&B
Day 17: Roys Camp
Today continue towards Roy’s camp – live the African dream, where you can
settle down in one of the rustic bungalows and spoil yourself with some excellent
farm style cooking and Namibian hospitality. B&B
Day 18: Roys Camp
The morning is set aside for a visit to the San Historical Living Museum in
Grasshoek. You will be entertained with singing, dancing, traditional games,
learn a few words (“click” language), shoot a bow & arrow, throw a spear
and watch a traditional doctor heal a patient. B&B
Day 19: Waterberg Plateau Park
Travel towards Waterberg Plateau Park Resort situated in one of the most spectacular
features of the northern region. Towering some 200m above the surrounding
landscape, the plateau with its sheer cliffs and fascinating rock formations
is the habitat and breeding ground of several game species, including rhino,
buffalo, sable and roan antelope. Have a brief stopover at the cheetah conservation
fund where we will learn more about the project and have the opportunity to
get up close to the world's fastest land animal, the cheetah, is a unique
and the most specialized member of the cat family and can reach speeds of
70 mph. B&B
Day 20: Windhoek
We head back to Windhoek were you will have time for last minute shopping
and have the afternoon at leisure before dinner at the famous Joe’s beerhouse
or any other restaurant of your choice. B&B
Day 21: Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport; where your explorer
ends.

Day 1: Windhoek
Arrival at Windhoek International Airport. Meet and greet by us. We drive
via mountainous terrain towards the capital where you will check into your
hotel. Enjoy an afternoon township tour. From iron shacks to up-market houses,
it is diverse, lively and historical place to visit. The night will be completed
with dinner with a local family. A/D/B&B
Day 2: Kalahari Desert
Proceed via mountain terrain to Kalahari Desert. The uniquely styled clay
buildings blend perfectly with the russet-coloured Kalahari sands of their
surroundings. The Lodge is synonymous with Namibia´s tranquil and intimate
style, combining high levels of comfort, hospitality and serenity. B&B
Day 3: Maltahoehe
Continue your journey towards Maltahoehe where; the lodge offers space with
no limit as it is situated on an elevated patch of ground is everywhere surrounded
by calm, serenity and peace. Enjoy an afternoon drive into the Maltahohe town
where you will be entertained by the Daureb cultural group. A show full of
dancing, singing, customs and make up by very enthusiastic children. B&B
Day 4: Gondwana Sperrgebiet
You proceed further south to Aus region situated where the succulent Karoo
and Namib Desert meets with exceptional views over the endless desert plains
of the 510 sq km Gondwana Sperrgebiet Rand Park. An intriguing feature of
the Sperrgebiet is the legendary desert horses seen from the road. After lunch,
a drive is scheduled to Garub, a maintained water point where the legendary
wild desert horses of the Sperrgebiet can be observed and photographed as
they come to drink. B&B
Day 5: Gondwana
Sperrgebiet
This morning depart to the coastal town of Luderitz. It is renowned for its
old world charm and distinctly German colonial architecture and offers a variety
of excellent restaurants. The magnificent coastline is decorated with beautiful
un-crowded beaches and secluded bays to explorer. Have a stopover at Namibia’s
most famous ghost town of Kolmanskop. Diamonds were discovered in the early
1900’s and due to the great diamond boom, the luxurious town of Kolmanskop
was built, today a ghost town. After lunch and time for shopping and exploring
the coastal town return to the lodge to have the late afternoon on leisure.
B&B Day 6: Sossusvlei
Continue towards one of the top destinations in the Southern region, Sossusvlei
with its monumental dunes up to 325m when measured from the base. These star-shaped
dunes are a sought after topic for artists and photographers. B&B
Day 7: Sossusvlei
Enjoy an early morning drive into the Sossusvlei area where you will have
picnic breakfast before exploring the dunes and its surroundings. On way back
to the lodge stop at the Sesriem Canyon where centuries of erosion have incised
a narrow gorge about 1 km in length. At the foot of the gorge which plunges
down 30-40 meters, are pools that become replenished after good rains. B&B
